Dr. Bevill graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 1984. He completed his residency at Anniston Family Practice in Anniston, Alabama.

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice and is a member of several organizations including the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Southern Medical Association.

Dr. Bevill and his wife Mary Jane reside in Cartersville and have three children
